A tannery family that learned to write everything down.
Truetannage exists because two people saw the same problem from opposite ends: my father saw good leather lose buyers to bad communication, and I saw good software solve the wrong problems. We put the two together in Kasur.

Muhammad Numan
Software engineer turned exporter. He spent years building logistics and inventory systems before coming home to turn his father's standard into records a buyer on another continent can actually verify.

Muhammad Younas
On the Kasur tannery floor for over 20 years. He selects and grades every lot personally and can read a hide's substance with his thumb before the gauge confirms it. The standard this company holds is his.

Muhammad Ramzan
15+ years in Pakistan's leather trade, running sourcing, client relations, and day-to-day operations across the tannery network. He's the point of contact once an order moves from quote to production, keeping every lot on schedule and every buyer in the loop.
Twenty years in the making.
The bench years begin
Muhammad Younas starts selecting and grading hides on the Kasur tannery floor — learning substance by thumb, not by spec sheet.
A name buyers trust
Word spreads among local exporters that his lots run consistent. Repeat orders, no contracts, just trust earned lot by lot.
The son goes digital
Muhammad Numan finishes his studies and spends years building software — logistics and inventory systems, far from leather.
Coming home with a system
Numan returns to Kasur convinced his father's standard could be proven to buyers abroad, not just felt in person.
Truetannage formed
SECP registration begins, export groundwork is laid, and the client portal goes live. The handshake becomes a record anyone can verify.
Open for business
Truetannage begins taking orders, ready to ship finished leather to buyers worldwide.
Kasur — Pakistan's leather capital, and our whole advantage.
We don't source from a spreadsheet of factories we've never walked into. Everything we sell is tanned within a 15-kilometre radius of our office. When your lot is in production, it's a fifteen-minute drive away — which is why we can photograph it the same day.
Four values, written for this business.
We inspect like it is our money
Because on every order, it is. Our name is on the QC report and the balance is only due after you have seen it pass.
A small network, on purpose
Five vetted tanneries out of 200+ nearby. We would rather turn down an order than source it from a bench we have not audited.
Numbers, not adjectives
We do not say "high quality". We say ΔE ≤ 1.5, defects ≤ 3 per sq ft, 91% cutting yield. You can check every one.
The distance is our problem, not yours
Karachi to your warehouse is where trust usually breaks. Closing that gap with evidence is the whole job.
